The mission of the Hispanic/Latino Behavioral Health Center of Excellence is to advance and support the sustainability of behavioral health by promoting community-driven, culturally grounded, and person-centered prevention, treatment, multiple pathways of recovery, and recovery support for Hispanic and Latino communities.
We serve as a comprehensive resource for mental health and substance use providers, primary care professionals, community-based and faith-based organizations, research institutions, Hispanic and Latino-Serving Institutions, peer and recovery support service providers, and government entities at all levels. Additionally, we engage the general public, including Hispanic and Latino individuals, families, and communities, as well as persons with lived experiences.
