Since its founding in 1969, Harmony has centered its treatment approach around a Twelve Step model, inspired by Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.). While acknowledging that recovery paths vary, Harmony continues to recognize the value of the Twelve Steps for many individuals. In response to the evolving needs of addiction treatment, Harmony has launched a new curriculum and campus schedule to offer more comprehensive care. This includes evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) sessions three mornings a week in small groups. Patients will also have the opportunity to participate in a weekly Twelve Step specialty group and receive ongoing individual sessions, readings, and assignments.
Harmony offers specialized care through Co-Occurring and Trauma specialty groups held weekly in separate afternoon sessions. Recovery Skills groups are held every weekend, focusing on evidence-based techniques. Spirituality programming, including meditation, yoga, and nature experiences, is available daily and tailored to individual preferences, whether religious or non-religious.
Additionally, the updated family program provides educational sessions, peer support groups, and regular counseling. Patients also benefit from acudetox, nutritionist consultations, and off-campus outings to Rocky Mountain National Park. This holistic approach aims to provide both individualized and group support to those seeking recovery.
