Since 2007: EHD has provided outpatient assisted alcohol & opiate detox. An RN, expert in detox, resides onsite 24/7 to care for the client in collaboration with a prescribing physician. The RN partners with the physician to provide safe - effective withdrawal management. We are skilled in using medications for alcohol withdrawal, and skilled in opiate detox and Buprenorphine Induction. Our nurses are familiar with anti-craving medications as well.
EHD has nine nurses that travel throughout the US delivering this care.
We will assist the client to set up an ongoing care plan to sustain their sobriety.
We can focus the client on an abstinence based model or we can support a risk reduction mode.
