West Virginia University currently offers Addiction Medicine and Addiction Psychiatry Fellowships. Each program is one year of training in Morgantown, WV and surrounding areas. Both programs are housed in our Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry. WVU offers training in ACGME certified programs at the epicenter of the opioid epidemic. The fellowships offer training with a multitude of patients including those who have vast and complex diagnoses, with a focus on underserved and rural populations. The program environment is filled with highly skilled, multidisciplinary team members, opportunities to focus on personal interests or conduct research, and gain experience across many different settings.
