Short description: The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is committed to keeping DEA registrants and employees of DEA registered facilities informed about pertinent regulations to help facilitate compliance with the Controlled Substances Act. This discussion will include topics of interest to the ASAM members, including DEA's commitment to MOUD services, DEA’s telemedicine rules, stimulants prescribing trends, and e-script fraud.

Learners will be able to:
increase their knowledge of DEA and federal regulations pertaining to controlled substances.
identify any areas of their practice and/or procedures that are not currently in compliance with DEA regulations.
integrate the new information to their current practice or Standard Operating Procedures in order to be compliant with Federal regulations.
