This engaging focus session will review the highest impact papers in the field of addiction medicine from the past year, focusing on papers that are high impact AND update practice across the most relevant and widely discussed trends in our field. Striving to be relevant to the busy clinician and available as teaching material, the presenters critically review the recent biggest articles spanning addiction neurobiology, pharmacology, intoxication and withdrawal, screening and diagnosis, treatment, mutual help, and special topics and populations.
