Eric Weintraub, MD, is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he serves as the Director of the Division of Addiction, Research, and Treatment and as the Associate Director of the Kahlert Institute of Addiction Medicine. He has extensive experience in treating individuals with substance use disorders with a focus on those with OUD and injection drug use. He has developed innovative telemedicine programs to increase access to treatment for individuals with OUD in underserved areas.
