Sonya Del Tredici, MD, FASAM, is an academic general internist and addiction medicine specialist for WellSpan Health in South-Central Pennsylvania. As well as treating substance use disorders, her clinical interests include coaching and performance improvement, managing medically complex patients in the ambulatory setting, and the connection between brain and body. She treats addiction within primary care and works to help other providers treat substance use disorder in their own practices. As well as treating patients, she teaches residents and medical students and leads addiction medicine projects for her health system. She is also the founder and co-host of the popular "Addiction Medicine Journal Club" podcast, and lectures on evidence-based addiction medicine.
