Dr. Ho is a palliative medicine and addiction medicine physician at the University of California, San Francisco. She completed internal medicine training and chief residency at Yale, and fellowships in health services research, palliative care, and addiction medicine at Harvard and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. Her clinical and academic interests lie at the intersection of serious illness, addiction, pain, buprenorphine, chronic cancer pain, and harm reduction. She has written several manuscripts, book chapters, and given national presentations on these topics, as well as co-founded a national course on communication around pain, opioids, and concerns for addiction.
