Dr. Jesse Ristau, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Univesity of California, San Francisco. She is boarded in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine, having completed a primary care residency at UCSF ('19) and addiction medicine fellowship at UCSF ('20). She provides clinical care in addiction medicine and primary care, as well as contributing to implementation research around addiction medicine and chronic pain as well as medical education in the realm of remediation. She is also a consultant for the Goldsmidt Collective Substance Use Warmline, a national hotline for clinician to clinician expertise and advise. She is the founder and co-chair of the UCSF Addiction Medicine CME Conference, a co-author of the Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment chapter on Substance use Disorders, and a member of the California Society of Addiction Medicine planning committee.
