Dr. Li Li is a board-certified general psychiatrist and addiction medicine specialist, and Vivian Conaster-Turner endowed Professor, in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is also the Director for Addiction Research and Clinical Services. In the past 15 years, Dr. Li has focused her career on research, patient care, education, training, programs development, and advocacy in the field of addiction and mental health. She has a well-established record in conducting clinical trials and implementation study, and has served and currently serves as the PI and Co-I on studies funded by NIDA, NIDDK, SAMHSA, NARSAD, and Foundation of Opioid Response Efforts. She has published about 95 peer-reviewed articles and has been recognized nationally and internationally for these topics.
