Anish Dhamija, MD, MS completed residency training in both Psychiatry and Family Medicine at UC San Diego in 2022. He subsequently completed the Public Psychiatry Fellowship at Columbia University (2022–2023), during which he also served as Clinical Director of the Crisis Team and 988 Headquarters in Westchester County in NY.
Dr. Dhamija currently serves as Supervisor of Psychiatry at Neighborhood Healthcare, an FQHC, where he oversees behavioral health data and quality initiatives. He also serves as Director of Behavioral Health at Imperial Beach Community Clinic, another FQHC located near the San Diego–Mexico border. In these roles, he works extensively in integrated behavioral health settings within primary care. He lives in San Diego with his wife and young child.
In addition to his clinical leadership roles, Dr. Dhamija is actively involved in national professional leadership. He serves on the board of the American Association of Community Psychiatry (AACP) and is a co-host of the AACP podcast.
