Alison Lynch MD, MS is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Family Medicine at University of Iowa Health Care in Iowa City, IA, where she is also Director of the UI Addiction and Recovery Collaborative. Dr. Lynch is the Program Director for the UI Addiction Medicine Fellowship and is Principal Investigator of the RECOVER-IA project (SAMHSA), the UI Addiction Medicine Fellowship (HRSA), the North and South Bridge Projects (State of Iowa Opioid Response), and Project INFORM (State of Iowa). Her work focuses on expanding the addiction medicine workforce, perinatal substance use disorder, and substance use disorder among healthcare professionals.
