Sahar Yazdanfard, MS, PhDc, is a doctoral candidate in Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes and Policy at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. Sahar Yazdanfard also serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Prescription Drug Misuse Education and Research Center. With a Master’s degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Sahar specializes in leveraging advanced data analytics, health economics, and informatics to address critical public health challenges.
Her diverse professional background spans genomic research, patient-reported outcomes, and primary and secondary data analysis of healthcare disparities using tools such SAS and SQL. Currently, her research focuses on evaluating the treatment of opioid use disorder, with an emphasis on improving healthcare accessibility and quality.
