Dale Terasaki, MD, MPH is an internist and addiction medicine specialist at Denver Health, where he provides addiction consultations in the hospital setting. He is an assistant professor through the University of Colorado School of Medicine and serves as a core faculty member for the addiction medicine fellowship. A Colorado Health Service Corps awardee, Dr. Terasaki is focused on providing and improving substance use disorder care in urban, underserved settings. He is currently engaged in hospital-based clinical research on alcohol use disorder and has published articles on psychedelics, medications for opioid use disorder, and harm reduction. He earned his medical and public health degrees from the University of Washington and completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Colorado.
