Dr. Christopher Rowe, PhD is the Director of Research and Population Health at Ophelia, where he leads efforts to harness data for tracking and improving outcomes among patients receiving telehealth-based treatment with buprenorphine for opioid use disorder. He has a PhD in Epidemiology and an MA in Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley. He has over ten years of experience conducting observational studies leveraging diverse data sources to better understand substance use related harms and the impacts of interventions aiming to mitigate those harms. He previously worked at the Center on Substance Use and Health at the San Francisco Department of Public Health, where he led substance use surveillance efforts for the City of San Francisco and conducted analyses for several NIDA and CDC funded studies. He has authored or co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications.
