Sophia Sugar, MD is a second year resident physician at the University of Colorado's Internal Medicine Residency Program. She is from Columbus, Ohio and attended Gettysburg College where she received a bachelor of science in Health Sciences. She then received her Medical Degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Her clinical and research interests include exploring the intersection of social determinants of health and opioid use disorder, stigma related to substance use disorders, and harm reduction practices.
