Dr. Venkatesh is an Associate Professor and Chief of the Section of Administration in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Yale University. He has received over $8 million in funding by the NIH, CMS, AHRQ, and several foundation to study and develop measures and interventions that improve acute care outcomes and efficiency. He is Principal Investigator of the ACEP Emergency Quality Network (E-QUAL) and leads the development of the CMS Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings.
