Carleigh Litteral is a Ph.D. candidate in Experimental Psychology with a specialization in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Kentucky. Her research focuses on familial and environmental influences on substance use and mental health, including genetic and social determinants of addiction risk. As someone in long-term recovery with a family history of substance use, Carleigh brings a unique and personal perspective to her work. In addition to her academic pursuits, she serves as a Patient Engagement Specialist at Landmark Recovery, where she supports individuals navigating early recovery. Carleigh is committed to transforming research into actionable strategies that improve lives, strengthen families, and drive meaningful change in the field of addiction recovery.
