Clarissa O'Conor, MD is an Addiction Medicine fellow at Montefiore Einstein in the Bronx, NY. She completed her family medicine training at West Suburban Medical Center in Chicago, IL. During her fellowship, she has been privileged to provide care to people with substance use disorders in a variety of clinical settings alongside amazing faculty and colleagues, including at methadone clinics, a drug user health clinic at an overdose prevention center, primary care clinics, and in hospital settings. She is a current participant in the Research in Addiction Medicine Scholars (RAMS) program where she is studying the integration of long-acting injectable buprenorphine into inpatient addiction care. After graduating from fellowship, she will continue to care for patients in the Bronx at NYC Health & Hospitals/Jacobi Medical Center as Assistant Medical Director of Addiction Services, leading the inpatient consult service. In her free time, she is enjoying teaching herself how to sew.
