I am an Internal Medicine physician and Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. I am broadly interested in improving care delivery for patients with alcohol and other substance use disorders. My research has focused predominantly on describing care gaps in the treatment of alcohol use disorder including the underutilization of medication treatment. My current interests relate to improving post-hospitalization care transitions and linkage to care among hospitalized adults with alcohol use disorder.
