Abigail Elmes-Patel, PharmD, MHPE, BCPS is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) Retzky College of Pharmacy. After earning her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh, she completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. She completed a Fellowship in Academia and Family Medicine at the UIC Retzky College of Pharmacy while earning her Master of Health Professions Education from the Department of Medical Education at UIC. Her research focuses on the implementation of mobile van-based services for opioid use disorder across geographical settings and patient populations.
