Dr. Akhil Anand is a board-certified addiction psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of substance use disorders. He co-leads the Inpatient Chemical Dependency Unit at Cleveland Clinic's Alcohol, Drug, and Recovery Center and serves as the co-medical director of Cleveland Clinic’s Multidisciplinary Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease Clinic. Additionally, he is the Program Director for the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at University Hospitals, home to Cleveland’s only Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship Program.
