Megan Lemay, MD, is an Associate Professor of General Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, VA. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her residency and chief residency in the Yale Primary Care Internal Medicine Program in New Haven, CT. She is a core educator in the VCU Internal Medicine Residency Program and the Addiction Medicine Fellowship and practices in outpatient primary care, outpatient addiction medicine, and inpatient internal medicine. She has specific interests in medical education, medical humanities, anti-racism in medical education, and several areas of addiction including ambulatory treatment of opioid and alcohol use disorders, and the safety and efficacy of cannabis for medical conditions.
