Dr. Andy Ngo, DO, MS, is a PGY-1 Psychiatry Resident at Valley Health System in Las Vegas, Nevada. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of Health Sciences, where he completed the Business in Medicine track, and his Master of Science degree in Global Medicine at the University of Southern California. He completed undergraduate training in engineering, mathematics, and health promotion and disease prevention, contributing to a multidisciplinary and systems oriented approach to psychiatric care. Dr. Ngo’s clinical interests include addiction psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, consultation liaison psychiatry, interventional psychiatry, and cultural psychiatry, with particular emphasis on the intersection of substance use disorders and mood disorders. His academic interests include ketamine assisted treatments, neuromodulation, and the application of artificial intelligence enabled clinical decision support to enhance psychiatric education and clinical decision making. Dr. Ngo is committed to advancing equitable, evidence-based, and patient centered mental health and addiction care through community integrated and culturally responsive models.
