Rikki Patton, PhD, LMFT, is a Research Professor at Drexel University, where she provides research and academic leadership at the intersection of behavioral health, substance use, and relational systems. Dr. Patton is a licensed therapist and scholar whose work focuses on substance use disorders in relational contexts, SBIRT implementation, recovery-oriented systems of care, and the impact of addiction on couples and families. She has led and collaborated on federally funded research initiatives, published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and regularly provides training and consultation to clinicians, educators, and health systems on integrating relational and systemic approaches into substance use prevention, assessment, and treatment.
