Dr. Paola Lavín, MD, MSc, is a Clinical Research Associate at the Centre de Recherche du CHUM (Université de Montréal, Canada), within the Lab of Integrative Biomedical Psychedelic Approaches in Mental Health, where her work focuses on the clinical, neurobiological, and translational aspects of psychedelic-assisted interventions for complex psychiatric conditions, including treatment-resistant mood disorders and substance use disorders.
Dr. Lavín is a core contributor to research in bipolar disorders, technology-asssited psychosocial interventions for older adults and has published extensively in leading psychiatric and neuroscience journals.
