Lisa B Voltarelli, MD, is a family medicine and addiction medicine physician at the San Francisco Department of Public Health. She attended Boston University Medical School. She completed her family medicine residency and addiction fellowship at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA, with a focus on perinatal addiction care. She is board certified in Family and Addiction Medicine. She is passionate about integrating addiction care into primary care, inpatient, and obstetric care. Within the San Francisco Department of Public Health, she has pioneered integrating addiction care into primary care via contingency management, LAI, and addiction consultation for primary care providers. She continues to do outpatient and inpatient addiction care, including training for residents and fellows. Outside of work she enjoys traveling, exploring new cities and having fun in the outdoors, both with and without her energetic toddler.
