Jim Lim MD is an addiction medicine physician in the Pittsburgh area. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University and graduated from medical school at Temple University, and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Michigan. He has been practicing as a board certified primary care physician since 2008, seeing outpatients and inpatients in the office, hospital, and nursing home. He became board certified in addiction medicine in 2017 and practices full-spectrum addiction care at carceral, inpatient detoxification and rehabilitation, and outpatient settings. He has been a consultant and speaker for Braeburn, Arista MD, Pear Therapeutics, Indivior, and legal clients. His day job is being a parent with his wife Jess, raising their 5 daughters: Penny, Trixie, Addie, Lulu, and Fiona.
