Dinah Sher Gongora (she/her) is a Research Assistant at the Division of Addiction Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH). She graduated from Boston University in 2024 and is currently pursuing her Master of Public Health at Dartmouth College. With a background in adolescent and family-focused research, she previously worked at the Boston University Family Development and Treatment Lab and the Massachusetts General Hospital Program for Pediatric Psychopharmacology (a NIH HEAL lab). At BCH, Dinah helps to coordinate a national study on post-operative exposure to opioids and contributed to a novel study of extremely high urine cotinine levels among young people who use e-cigarettes. Additionally, she is part of the Division Quality Improvement team, which works to develop, evaluate, and improve pediatric addiction safety and quality initiatives.
