Julia Oberndorf, MD, is an Addiction Medicine Fellow Physician and Hospitalist at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California . Dr. Oberndorf earned her medical degree with High Honors from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency training at Eisenhower Medical Center. She is American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) certified and contributes to hospital governance as a member of the Blood Utilization Committee.
Dr. Oberndorf is deeply involved in clinical research and quality improvement. Her recent academic work focuses on clinical outcomes and protocol optimization, notably a quality improvement project at Eisenhower Medical Center that revised hospital-wide alcohol withdrawal order sets through a benzodiazepine-sparing protocol.
