Toren Andrewson, MS, is an MD candidate at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine. Her interests are rooted in health equity through the lenses of policy, education, and clinical care. She has interdisciplinary training in anthropology and food science and has authored several publications, with recent work focusing on LGBTQ+ care and climate-related health impacts using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Toren plans to pursue residency training in psychiatry, with an interest in person-centered and evidence-based approaches to mental health and substance use.
