Chun Lin, MD, is Vice Director of the Kunming Prevention and Control Center at Taipei City Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan, and serves as a specialist in addiction prevention and treatment. Dr. Lin also leads the Taipei City Government Drug Hazard Prevention and Control Center, overseeing municipal substance use prevention, treatment coordination, and harm-reduction initiatives.
Dr. Lin’s clinical and research interests focus on addiction medicine, perinatal substance exposure, and maternal–child health outcomes. His work integrates real-world clinical practice with nationwide population-based research to better understand the impact of illicit substance use during pregnancy. He has published on prenatal substance exposure and offspring mortality risk in The International Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology, contributing to the growing evidence base informing trauma-informed perinatal addiction care and public health policy.
