Lauren Howard, MS, is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Lauren’s primary interest is how to better care for patients from marginalized communities. She has volunteered for organizations focused on Street Medicine, tattoo removal for formerly incarcerated individuals and primary care within under-resourced communities. Academically, Lauren is interested in addressing health equity through quality improvement and public health research. Her work focuses on improving health outcomes for unhoused patients and preventative medicine within the SUD patient population.
