Sophia Hunter is a Master of Social Work candidate at Western Michigan University specializing in Trauma Across the Lifespan and serves as a Graduate Research Assistant for the HRSA funded SUPPORT Program (Supporting Underserved Peer Professionals in Opioid Recovery and Treatment). Her work focuses on strengthening the peer recovery workforce through training, mentorship, and scholarship support. In her clinical work at Arbor Circle, Sophia supports young adults experiencing housing instability, integrating trauma informed and recovery oriented approaches in practice.
