Carrie Grassi, MSN, APRN, ANP-BC, CARN-AP, is the Vice President of Medical Services at Aware Recovery Care and Doctor of Nursing Practice candidate at Vanderbilt University. She is a strategic clinical executive with more than 20 years of experience transforming behavioral health and addiction treatment systems. Her work focuses on designing and scaling evidence-based, equitable care models, including the launch of a multimillion-dollar virtual ambulatory detox program and expansion of nurse practitioner–led medication-assisted treatment services across 11 states.
Carrie’s leadership blends systems thinking, innovation, and a deep commitment to patient-centered care. She specializes in virtual addiction treatment models, value-based behavioral health strategy, regulatory compliance, and building high-performing clinical teams that thrive during periods of rapid growth and change.
She is passionate about advancing addiction medicine, expanding access to high-quality care, and influencing policy to support sustainable, technology-enabled treatment models.
