Xiao Zang, PhD, is an assistant professor at the Division of Health Policy and Management of the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. His research focuses primarily on evaluating interventions and policies aiming to prevent drug overdose mortality and infectious diseases using simulation modeling methods. He has extensive experience in decision analysis, model calibration, cost-effectiveness analysis, distributional cost-effectiveness analysis and have developed and applied diverse modeling approaches in evaluating various public health interventions and their health equity impacts. He has also published research on health policy evaluation using quasi-experimental and other quantitative methods.
