Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I completed an undergraduate degree in Industrial Microbiology at the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, graduating in January 2017. I then pursued both a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Science in Biomedical Research at St. George's University School of Medicine, completing both programs in March 2023. I am currently a PGY-2 Psychiatry Resident at BronxCare Health System. I have a strong clinical and research interest in eating disorders, particularly Binge Eating Disorder, as well as nutritional psychiatry, lifestyle and integrative psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, addiction, and Hispanic psychiatry. I am looking forward to future opportunities to serve underserved Hispanic communities in the field of mental health.
