Mike is a licensed and board certified Family Medicine physician living and working in New York City with interests in primary care, psychedelic medicine, and harm reduction. Mike serves as the Senior Clinician for Drug User Healthcare at OnPoint NYC, which runs the nation's first overdose prevention centers. He is an attending physician at Lincoln Hospital's Consult for Addiction Treatment and Care in Hospitals (CATCH) team. He also is medical director of Cardea, a psychedelic space in New York City. Having previously worked as a case manager, Mike graduated medical school from Georgetown University School of Medicine with distinction in health justice studies and completed residency training in Family Medicine with the Institute for Family Health/Mount Sinai Hospital. He has certification in medical cannabis prescribing in New York State, Ajna Light therapy certification, and has completed multiple courses involving the use of psychedelics for therapeutic purposes. He publishes regularly writing on topics at the intersection of health and social justice and writes regularly for Left Voice.
