Dr. Peavy is a Scholarly Associate Professor in the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University (WSU); she serves as Director of Training for the Promoting Research Initiatives in Substance Use and Mental Health (PRISM) Collaborative. A licensed clinical psychologist by training, Dr. Peavy has supported, advocated for, and served people with substance use disorders for the past 20 years. After a decade of directly serving people with SUDs in a large, urban opioid treatment program, Dr. Peavy pivoted to clinical training, implementation, and dissemination of evidence-based SUD interventions. In addition to leading training and technical assistance efforts in Cotingency Management, her training, coaching, and mentoring experience includes a role as Co-Director of the Northwest Rural Opioid Technical Assistance Collaborative (NW ROTAC).
