Dr. Hillary Tamar is the Medical Director of Community Medical Services' Eastern Territory, overseeing Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Texas. Dr. Tamar completed her undergraduate studies at Marquette University, and her medical education at Chicago Medical School. She trained in Family Medicine at the University of Arizona-Phoenix, and then went on to complete a fellowship program in Addiction Medicine at Swedish Medical Center, in Seattle, WA. Her special interests within Addiction Medicine include federal and state opioid treatment program regulation, pregnant patients with substance use disorders, and harm reduction.
