Dr. Vaibhav Vyas is a compassionate and dedicated psychiatrist, currently specializing in Addiction Psychiatry through a fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He began his medical journey at Xavier University School of Medicine in Aruba and completed his psychiatry residency at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in New Jersey, where he served as Chief Resident. His diverse clinical training has equipped him with expertise in general psychiatry, addiction treatment, and interventional psychiatry, allowing him to provide comprehensive and innovative care to his patients.
Before pursuing psychiatry, Dr. Vyas gained valuable experience in healthcare administration, serving as the Director of Case Management and Social Work at Hudson Regional Hospital, NJ. In addition to his clinical work, he is passionate about research, having contributed to peer-reviewed publications and presented at major conferences, including the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. Dr. Vyas is also deeply committed to education and passionate about mentoring the next generation of medical professionals and researchers, fostering a strong network of future leaders in addiction psychiatry. Outside of my professional pursuits, I enjoy traveling the world and playing cricket.
