Dr. Stanley Nkemjika, MD, MPH, is a dedicated physician and public health professional with a strong academic foundation and a passion for advancing mental health care. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and a Master of Public Health from Rutgers University, New Jersey. Currently, Dr. Nkemjika is an addiction psychiatry fellow at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, where he focuses on the intersection of addiction, psychiatry, and public health. His professional interests encompass psychiatry, addiction medicine, public health, epidemiology, social determinants of health, and health equity. With a deep commitment to addressing addiction psychiatry and addiction epidemiology, Dr. Nkemjika’s work contributes significantly to the broader understanding of these fields, particularly in the context of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry.
