Team lead of the Low Barrier Urgent Access Team for the Virtual Opioid Dependency Program (VODP), appointed physician representative of the Communication Team for the VODP, co-medical lead of the Prenatal and Ante-partum Team for the VODP, co-medical lead for Red Deer Recovery Community Rehabilitation Centre, recent team lead for the Red Deer Narcotic Transition Service Team, medical consultant for the Red Deer, Calgary, and Medicine Hat Remand Centres, and addiction medical lead for the Northreach Society. Working within the field of addiction medicine full time for 6 years. Involvement in ongoing research and innovative projects within the field of addiction medicine. Currently working with ongoing case management within the VODP, while also providing regular expert consultation to Emergency Room, Hospital, and Clinic Health Care professionals for the management of complex addiction cases, as well as regular treatment consultation for patients suffering from substance use disorder in a holding cells and/or incarceration setting, and conducting regular outreach treatment options to patients suffering from substance use disorder in complex social environment’s. Husband to a wonderful wife, and father of three beautiful children.
