Kasey Grohe, DNP, FNP-BC, RN is a Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Mid-level Provider (MLP) at the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC). She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner. She earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree from Grand Canyon University and her FNP certification from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. Kasey also has a Masters Degree in Nursing with a focus on nursing education and a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from Regis University. She has 21 years of experience in nursing that includes ICU nursing, nursing education, and advanced practice. Within the CDOC, she works in the Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) program to assess, diagnose, and treat inmates with opioid use disorder throughout their incarceration. She provides education and training to other providers within the CDOC system and advocates for the advancement of MAT services. In addition to her clinical role at the CDOC, she does contract appraiser of work with the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an appraiser of continuing education programs.
