Zahra Vasi B.S. is a second-year medical student at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago. Ms. Vasi is interested in internal medicine with a focus in addiction medicine and public health interventions. Her research considers evidence-based treatment for substance use disorder (SUD) and addressing inequities in healthcare that improve outcomes for marginalized populations with SUD.
