Kerry Gannon-Loew, MD, MS is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, in the division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She completed medical school and pediatric residency at the University of Wisconsin and adolescent medicine fellowship at Nationwide Children's Hospital. While in fellowship, she worked with adolescents and young adults with opioid use disorder, and from there, her interest in supporting youth with substance use disorders grew. After joining the University of Wisconsin as faculty, she developed the Adolescent Medicine Substance Use Disorder Support Clinic in July 2023 to provide primary care-based treatment of substance use disorders for youth. She is involved in education and quality improvement efforts to improve the care of adolescents and young adults with substance use disorders.
