Anya McDermott, MD, is an addiction medicine fellow at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. She earned her medical degree with distinction in service to the community from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and trained in emergency medicine at Temple University Hospital. After residency, Dr. McDermott completed a health policy fellowship at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. During the fellowship, she received a Master in Policy Management and interned with the Senate HELP Committee under Senator Bernie Sanders. She looks forward to integrating her interests in health policy and addiction medicine.
