The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences
Blake Sutherland is a second year medical student at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Her interest in addiction medicine stems from witnessing a loved one struggle through the battles of addiction. Understanding that no one is immune to addiction, she works to eliminate negative stereotypes surrounding addiction and ensure all are provided the equitable, quality care they deserve. She currently helps run the Street Medicine Initiative at GW SMHS and strives to work with underserved populations as a physician one day.
