Emily Entz, MD, is a second-year resident physician in the Internal Medicine Program at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She completed medical school at the University of Washington and has a strong interest in both addiction medicine and critical care. Dr. Entz is particularly interested in improving access to care, especially for patients in rural and underserved communities, and in advancing the integration of addiction medicine within acute and critical care settings. She plans to pursue a career that contributes to expanding access to evidence-based care and improving outcomes for patients with substance use disorders and critical illness.
